Advanced Article Marketing Secrets - The Dilemma Between Long And Short Articles

I am sure that if you have been using article marketing for some time you would have come across long articles and also short articles. You may be considering which of the two to use.

This is my primary method of traffic generation and I have experimented with both methods. What I have traditionally found is that long articles take up so much space that the reader actually does not see my resource box. In the end he does not end up clicking through to my website and subscribing to my newsletter. So in the end it is very ineffective to build a list.

You may be wondering what to do if you were to have a long 1000 word article. I suggest that in this case you break it up into three parts of approximately 300 words each. Say for example your title is How To Write A Killer Resource Box you would include Part 1, Part 2 and Part 3 at the end of the title for each article.

In some cases there may be a use for very long articles. Usually this type will have a lot of expert information condensed. So if you would like to brand your name on the internet you can write one of these and submit them to popular magazines that publish reader's articles for maximum exposure.

However, if you are thinking of building a successful internet business you need to seriously look at building your list and getting loyal customers who buy over and over from you as this is the best way of building a stable business.

I suggest that you focus on 250 to 350 word articles to build your responsive list.

Resource Box and Click Thru Data Considerations in Online Article Marketing

Many online article marketers believe that the resource box or section for the author's byline should be contiguous and I must say that I absolutely agree. Because I have noticed that it also decreases the chances of people lifting articles, taking your name off and stealing your work. This means you get more "pick-ups" and syndicated usage where the link to your website is still in tact.

Should Online Article Submission Sites Give Click Thru Stats?

Many authors such as my self would like to know the click thru stats on our articles. I believe this can be done with site tracking software to see where surfers go, how long they stay on a page and where they click out too. So, this information is known and it is valuable information too, I agree.

Further, if a reader finishes an article that is of value, the average reader can finish a 300 word article in about 1 minute to 1:30 and longer articles will have more folks clicking out before they completely read the article and less likely to bother to scroll down the page, but it would take about 2-3 minutes for a 600 word article and 4 to 6 minutes for a 1,000 to 1200 word article.

Question is; are the readers interested in that much reading, as Internet Surfers are "Click Happy" group of mal-contents with the attention span of a gnat. And mind you I mean a very nice, loving insect type gnat, with hopes and dreams and an iPod as they go.

So if your content gets too thick, then see ya, they are gone, if this is not your clientele you probably do not care, because they are not your target market anyway. But if they click out due to too much thick content, their click-out "Vote" would go against your quality rating.

There is a relative truth about the Internet Surfer and their behavior and a reality of how online article marketing works. I would advise authors to do what works for them, even though some of the silly stupid articles are degrading the language, literature in general and an insult to my intelligence? Thoughts and more thoughts for you.

The idea is to write from your own experience, centering upon topics that have widespread interest where you have applied your knowledge and experience to solve a problem. This information will be of vital interest in your market and your articles will be sought out as a credible source of expertise. These activities will soon lead to people and potential prospects visiting your web site and eventually calling upon you to fulfill their needs!

Amazing Article Marketing - Revealing 4 Advanced Methods to Amplify Your Article Marketing

Article marketing is a simple yet very effective way of conveying your insights and thoughts to either persuade or educate your targeted readers or market. This is the fundamental reason why a lot of businessmen are resorting into article marketing. They see the potential pull of article materials to entice and attract more potential clients where they can advertise and promote their products and services. Below are some of the revealed methods on how one can advance in article marketing:

1. Compelling and robust subject lines are proven effective methods to entice people to open and read an article. Create a highly impacting subject line or title because this is the section of the article that is firstly seen by your potential market. This portion allows you to build rapport and communication with your potential readers at an instant.

2. Any article used for marketing is geared towards making an advertisement and substantially make a promotion. However, given this fact, it should not be taken hardly because the article may no longer look an information conveyor but an advertising mechanism. Subtly incorporate any advertising pick up lines but never bluntly spell it out.

3. Try to make the article easy to scan and read. You can only achieve this if you are able to chop and break the whole generalized idea of your article material into integral components. In this way, any person who attempts to read the article material can say that your material is easy to read and understand.

4. Adding up to clarity of your work, never make use of highly jargonized terms. These types of terms are relatively confusing if not misleading.
